General Overview:
Ma’arag is an innovative model that naturally integrates the community’s social and cultural life in a rehabilitative-occupational center designed to improve the lives of people with disabilities. It succeeds in doing so respectfully and sensitively, using initiative and creativity.
The uniqueness of Ma'arag is with the idea of "Reversed integration" – using communal, cultural and commercial elements to draw the broad public to the place and to allow equal meetings between populations. These interactions, which take place daily, serve to break down barriers between the different communities, help eliminate prejudices, and lead to true partnerships.
The beautiful complex includes a variety of art workshops, an art gallery- gift shops, a café- restaurant, and a conferences hall.
You may visit the workshops, rent the hall for special events, purchase beautiful products, and enjoy a rich local menu at the café.
All income is directed back to the rehabilitants' welfare.
 
Ma'arag Kfar Vradim

Ma'arag Kfar Vradim is known as a culture and leisure center for the community of Kfar Vradim and its surrounding.
A multi-purpose hall is available for holding professional conferences, seminars, private events and workshops for up to 200 people (150 seated). A second smaller meeting room is also available. Both halls have projectors, screens, amplification systems, seating areas, and more.
Many of the region's cultural activities take place in Ma'arag, and the service recipients are invited to participate. 
Art Gallery - Gift Shop

Decorative items made in the various workshops of Ma'arag, and works of local artists are available to purchase at the gift shops in Kfar Vradim, Mevo'ot HaChermon, and Safed.
 
Ma'arag Mevo'ot HaChermon
The center provides rehabilitation services to residents of the Upper Galilee from Metula to the Jordan Valley, including the Golan Heights. This anchor center offers a spectrum of services to people with various disabilities.
The beautiful building includes art workshops, a day-care center, paramedical rooms, respite care, a café, and four shops with a gallery exhibiting the workshop products, open to the public. A multi-purpose hall is available for holding professional conferences, seminars, private events, and workshops.
The business units are open to all visitors and constitute an unmediated encounter place for populations daily.

Employment Workshops

Ma’arag is a rehabilitative-occupational center for approximately 100 adults with disabilities who participate in a variety of art workshops in the following fields:
Textiles | ceramics | woodworking | laser cutting | basket weaving | multimedia | printing | and more
The workshops and the café serve as a training center that simulates actual places of work to teach participants the skills and tools they need to become part of the labor force. They gain work experience and learn how to cope with feedback, deal with authority and time constraints of their work schedule, gain self-confidence and receive generous amounts of encouragement as they realize their employment potential.
 

The Products and works of art made at the workshops are available for purchase in the gallery shops, at fairs, or can be ordered by corporate and private customers.
In addition, rehabilitants enjoy paramedical and psychosocial treatments, professional study and training, physical rehabilitation sessions, and various leisure activities.
The therapeutic attitude of Ma'arag suits all population sectors and deals with a broad spectrum of difficulties with encouraging and flexible approaches while emphasizing the maintenance of day-to-day skills and those needed for employment and productivity.
The professional staff includes social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, professionals from the art world, and volunteers.
 
Café Ma'arag Kfar Vradim/Mevo'ot HaChermon

'Café Ma'arag' is a kosher dairy boutique café that is open to the public five days a week. It offers authentic Galilean cuisine made with the finest locally grown raw materials and fresh pastries baked on the spot.
The unique atmosphere, the flavors, and the aesthetics draw residents of the area, tourists staying in nearby bed and breakfasts, and visitors from all over the country.
Café Ma'arag’s charming courtyard is a popular venue for private events.  
All income is directed back into the association's activities.
Ma'arag Kfar Vradim is open on Fridays.
